Zero Hero Celebrations:

We are looking to celebrate our aviators who meet expectations and come to school each day. In Quarter 4, we will be giving out "Zero Hero Athletic Passes" to students who have zero demerits, zero detentions, and zero absences throughout the week to wear athletic wear on Friday. Students will get a wrist band with their name and the Friday date written on it to use if they please. We are excited to celebrate Aviators that come to school each day and show positive behaviors.

8th Grade Spring Trip:

We believe that the 8th grade spring trip is an essential part to the YES Prep experience, and provides an opportunity for our students to see a different city, tour multiple college campuses, and build relationships with their teachers and peers. Some information about the 8th grade trip is below:

When: May 22nd - May 24th

Where: San Antonio, Texas

Who: 60 qualifying 8th grade students and our 8th grade staff

We will be sharing more information regarding the trip at the Family Night on Thursday, March 21st. There will be academic updates from 4:30 - 5:30pm, followed by Spring Trip Updates for 8th grade families. We hope to see you there!

9th Grade Substance Abuse Education:

We are partnering with Civic Heart, a community partner, to bring their 'Project Towards No Drugs' program to campus. This programs aim to educate students about substance abuse. At our school, we prioritize our students' well-being, and we believe it is crucial for them to engage in substance abuse programming.
This program will provide students with valuable information about the dangers and consequences of drug use while raising awareness of associated risks. If you would like your student to participate in this in-school programming, please complete this form before Friday, March 14th: https://forms.office.com/r/Z0aVNgWQmd

Thank you for your support in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.
