Greetings, Aviator Families –

I hope that you and your families are doing well. The event that occurred at YES Prep Southwest last Friday has had an impact on our entire YES Prep community. We continue to keep the YES Prep Southwest Maverick community in our thoughts.

Our top priority each and every day is to ensure the safety of our school community. If your student is aware of any information that could be harmful for our school community, please encourage them to report this information so that we can investigate and follow up.

Next week is the last week of the first quarter of our school year, and our Aviators will be taking their Common Assessments in ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies. Please help us ensure a successful testing environment by making sure that your students are on time to school on Monday, October 11th and Tuesday, October 12th.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to the school. Have a wonderful weekend!

Mr. Sander

At YES Prep Hobby, our top priority is to ensure the safety and security of our Aviator community while they are on campus. We work together as a campus community to ensure our safety through a variety of means which include keeping our exterior doors locked during the day, students and staff wearing ID badges, checking in all visitors at the front office, and regularly practicing safety drills.

If you or your student ever have any concerns about campus safety, please reach out to YES Prep Hobby to share any information. Students also have access to our anonymous reporting boxes located in our 100 and 300 hallways.

We take all reports seriously and will investigate to ensure campus safety. The safety of our school community is our top priority.
